Amitabh Bachchan has entertained masses with his marvellous performances for several decades. Over the years, the actor has set a benchmark not just in acting but also as a producer, television host, voiceover artist and occasional playback singer. This is one of the reasons that the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend & Awards would play a tribute to the actor, who is set to celebrate his 80th birth anniversary on October 11.
As part of the celebration, IIFA will host polls, quizzes and trivia highlighting his much-celebrated work and achievements over the next 10 days.
Bachchan’s works have always been applauded at IIFA. Till date the actor has received four IIFA. He is also the first-ever Bollywood actor whose wax figure at Madame Tussauds was facilitated at the maiden edition of IIFA held in London in 2000.
Every year IIFA brings together people from all around the world to enjoy the awards. This year’s show will also be the same.
IIFA 2023 will witness the presence of several Bollywood superstars, including Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
