The actress was recently in Delhi for a promotional event of Runway 34. She spilled the beans about her on-screen chemistry with her co-actors and her nostalgia with the capital.
Actress Rakul Preet Singh recently felt nostalgic when she was in the national capital to promote the new trailer of her upcoming film ‘Runway 34’. She revealed her fond memories of the city as a child.
“I completed my high school and college in Delhi. Back then, we used to go to Connaught Place to enjoy chaat. So, as I was coming here, all those memories flashed back in front of my eyes. It is always wonderful to be back in this city,” she explained.
In Runway 34, she has worked with Ajay Devgn. This is not the first time that the pair has worked together. They have also worked in De De Pyaar De, which became a massive hit on the box office. However, in this film, Ajay is not only working with her an actor but also a director.
When asked if Ajay was better as a director or an actor, the actress said, “I don’t think I can pick between the two. I think he is terrific in both the roles. His technical brilliance is amazing. I don’t know how he dons multiple hats easily."
So is there anything that put her off while acting? She clarified that the Tanhaji actor is phenomenal on sets. "I like everything about Ajay sir’s way of being. He is too dedicated and passionate towards his work,” she added.
Runway 34 also stars Amitabh Bachchan. Just like any actor, Rakul too was excited to work with Big B.
Calling it as a dream come true, she said, “This film is very special for me. I not only got the chance to work with Ajay sir as a director but also with Amit ji. Like any other actor, I also dreamt of working with Amit ji. I am glad to share the screen space with him.”
